Job Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts
Manage and supervise the daily accounting operations for each business unit and provide coaching/advice to the accounting team as and when needed
Prepare for tax computations and deal with banks and relevant government bodies for tax and/or accounting matters
Support the annual forecast & budgeting exercise and financial audit process
Complete and review the full set of accounts for each business unit, both local and overseas
Monitor and provide timely reporting of the performance of the business unit based on key performance indicators
Prepare consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts for periodic management reporting
Provide administrative support for the investment portfolios and provide regular reporting to the management
Ensure that additional or ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned are completed on a timely basis
Any other duties and responsibilities may be varied from time to time at the sole discretion of the Company
Requirements
- Possess at least 3-5 years of technical skills and experience in the field of finance and accounting in local context
- Understand that confidentiality is of utmost importance
- Self-driven, meticulous and a good team player
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Has a passion for learning, mastering new skills and keeping abreast with new accounting principles or practices
- Possess effective problem solving, planning & analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and has the relevant experience in handing financial or enterprise-wide systems such as SAP or MS Dynamics 365
- Possess a Diploma or a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or equivalent from recognised institutions
